What is GRE?
It is very essential to understand, What is GRE? GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination that Includes 6 sections to analyze our writing, reading and critical thinking. The GRE is a requirement for a graduate course in the USA and in many other countries.
Structure
GRE includes 6 sections that are one analytical and argument, two verbal reasoning, two quantitative reasoning and one experimental and research.
- Verbal Section- this section includes Comprehension reading, critical reasoning, and vocabulary usage that have 130-170 score on the scale.
- Quantitative section- It includes the basic mathematics and reasoning of high school level. Each quantitative section consists 20 questions to be done in 35 minutes. This section is also rated 130-170 in score scale.
- Analytical section- This section is based on essay writing, which has a 6 rated score on the score scale. The topic of the essay depends on two tasks, that are issue task and argument task which is specially designed by the ETS.
